The wide range of models that make up jmc’s PERFORMER series of fly fishing rods lends itself effectively to be used in almost all fly fishing techniques. The first two models, specifically the 9’4 #3/4 and the 9’9 #3/4 are well suited for nymph fishing, light streamer fishing or dry fly fishing. The 10′ #7/8 is very powerful and robust, and is designed for fairly heavy fishing of big predators. The remaining 4 fishing rods: 10′ #2/3 – 10’6 #2/3 – 11′ #2/3 – 11′ #3/4, are designed for the now very popular high stick nymph fishing, using very light fly line.

All the models that make up the jmc PERFORMER line are made up of 4 sections and the 46ton multidirectional carbon combined with the latest generation nano resins gives the whole series a medium-fast action. The specific rods for high stick nymph fishing have a very sensitive tip but hide an excellent power reserve that can make you fight even the most combative fish in the best way.

The handle is made of high quality cork, reinforced in the edges with a rubber protection. Except for the 10′ #7/8 which has a full wells handle, the other models are equipped with a comfortable cigar handle, while the aluminium and carbon reel seat has a very elegant design.

If we exclude the 9’4 #3/4, all other models in jmc’s PERFORMER line are equipped with fighting butt. The particular thing is that this fighting butt can be unscrewed allowing the assembly of weights that are basically used to balance the rod according to the type of reel used or according to the technique we are practicing. This unique and innovative solution allows you to tire your wrist less during long fishing sessions.

All rods are equipped with a rod holder tube with compartments.
